Meet the SUNUP production team.
LYNDALL STOUT is proud to return home to Oklahoma after more than a decade working in television news. Stout grew up splitting her time between Pawhuska and Stillwater and spent a lot of her childhood on her grandparents' farm bordering the Arkansas River in Osage County. Some of her fondest memories are helping feed cattle in the winter, riding in the wheat truck during harvest and of course, enjoying her Gammy's homemade noodles and lemon icebox pie.
Stout has a master's degree in mass communication from Louisiana State University. She graduated cum laude from Arkansas Tech University with degrees in journalism and speech communication.
Prior to joining the SUNUP team, Stout was the main anchor at WBRE-TV, the NBC affiliate serving Northeastern Pennsylvania and the Poconos. She also worked as an anchor and reporter at KARK-TV in Little Rock and KTEN-TV in Denison, Texas.
DAVE DEKEN grew up in Perry, Okla. where he was active in Boy Scouts and would become the fourth of five Eagle Scouts in his family. After high school, Dave attended Northern Oklahoma College where he was active in student government. Upon graduation, Dave attended and graduated from Oklahoma State University with a double emphasis degree in Speech Communications and Business Marketing.
Working his way through college in radio, and transitioning into long-form, and corporate video, Dave brings over a decade of media experience to the SUNUP team. Dave is a producer and final editor as well as the graphic designer for SUNUP. Dave is excited to be back in northern Oklahoma, and he is looking forward to exhibiting what a great agricultural industry Oklahoma truly has.
KRISTIN LOVELAND has a passion for nonfiction filmmaking that finds its home at SUNUP. The newest member of the SUNUP team, Kristin grew up in northeast Oklahoma, where she was active in both 4-H and FFA. In fact, Kristin's favorite time of year centered around the Osage County Livestock Show and exhibiting the show pigs she raised. Her father was an agriculture education instructor in the Sand Springs School District for many years.
Kristin graduated with a bachelor of fine arts in digital filmmaking from Stephen’s College in Columbia, Missouri. She has worked on a variety of film projects, from outdoor television to promotional videos. She enjoys all aspects of filmmaking and is motivated to tell engaging and enlightening stories. Kristin serves as a producer and editor of SUNUP.
Kurtis Hair is a storyteller who grew up in Shawnee, Oklahoma. where he was active in school sports including baseball and basketball, as well as acting in school plays. Kurtis also is a musician, and his guitar playing skills earned him a scholarship at Seminole State College, where he attended after high school. Kurtis then transferred to Oklahoma State University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in multimedia journalism.
Kurtis worked as a beat reporter and video producer for The World Newspaper in Coos Bay, Oregon before coming aboard as a producer/director for the SUNUP team. Whether it be through song, print or video, he is always looking for a great story to tell.
